Pascal Giraud Oracle EMEA Technology

Oracle keynote speaker on the 20^th Conference is Pascal Giraud, Senior Director of Technology Presales for Oracle Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Pascal Giraud is responsible for providing technology expertise to support Oracle's EMEA projects in key business areas. In this role he supports business strategies and manages competence in Oracle's technology offerings across the region. He is also in direct interaction with Oracle's product development teams.

Pascal Giraud has more than 30 years' experience in emerging technologies and their application to today business challenges. In particular, his expertise is architecture of solutions based on Digital and Cloud technologies. He joined Oracle in 2010 from Sun Microsystems acquisition.
Prior to joining Oracle, Pascal Giraud built Solution Centers in EMEA aimed to support complex customer projects demonstrating by example how Sun technologies could help them address their business challenges. His role extended to implement similar model in APAC. When joining Oracle, Solution Centers coverage has been extended to embrace Oracle technologies portfolio.
Before this he was developing Graphics computing code at Dassault Electronics.

Pascal Giraud holds a PhD in electrical, electronic and robotics engineering from Université de Provence, France.
