The participants will learn how to recognize opportunities to enhance Java applications that they are working on, and how to implement them in pure Java.
This session will briefly explain how Java applications and end-users can benefit from deep learning, and provide practical guidance on how to add deep learning capabilities to existing Java applications using Deep Netts open source library.
The session assumes only knowledge in Java programming.

Zoran Sevarac, author
Zoran Sevarac is an Associate Professor at the University of Belgrade, AI researcher and CEO at deep learning company Deep Netts.
His main domains of work include software engineering and artificial intelligence, specifically Java and deep learning.
He is a Java Champion, one of the 200 most influential Java community leaders.
He is also one of the leaders of the expert group for Java technology standard for visual recognition and machine learning JSR381.
