Java certification, as an additional form of formal confirmation of knowledge and skills, represents a competitive advantage, both for individual as well as for the company. However, it takes a lot of valuable time and resources. In this session the representatives of the Croatian Java User Association (HUJAK) will try to provide answers to various questions about the Java certification. We will explain typical certification path, starting from the new Junior certificate, going in details over well-known Associate (OCA) and Professional (OCP) certificates, and finishing with the highest, but somewhat older, Expert and Master levels. We will also explain the benefits and differences of certain certificates, and we will try to help with instructions and advices on the easiest way to approach certification and how to take and renew certificates. Finally, we will show what could be benefits of certification in your professional life and whether the effort is worth it.
The conference is organized by the Croatian Association of Oracle users. More about the association can be found at Hroug.hr.
