The AWR report is one of the most used Oracle Database diagnostic tools. It is easy to generate and contains a wealth of information. However, it is also easy to misinterpret the data, reach the wrong conclusions, and take actions that can be detremental to the effort of improving the performance/scalability of the system.This presentation will focus on how Oracle's Real Worl Performance Team uses AWR reports to uncover critical aspects of Application/Database design and how to identify performance and scalability bottlenecks.During this interactive session, we will work together to review AWR reports from Real World escalations of mission-critical systems.
