Oracle Application Express (APEX) is a rapid application development tool which is integrated in the Oracle database and which offers an interface and functionalities to provide a fast and flexible Web appliaction development. The workshop will show the development of a simple HR application from scratch, where it will be built completely in APEX development tool. The application development will containt DB object definitions, application interface pages and business logic.
The workshop is a "hands-on" type, and participants will work on their equipment. Instructions with the minimum requirements to be met by equipment can be found at the link.

About speaker
Daniel Huha, author
Daniel Huha graduated at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin, currently working as a business application developer in Bilog d.o.o. During his four years of working with Oracle technologies and Oracle APEX, he gained experience in developing small and large applications, through activities in various national and international projects (Orbico, Croatia Osiguranje, Allianz Rusija, Allianz Zagreb). Along with Oracle development tools, other interests are current Web technologies and trends.
