With new modern Web applications it is almost inevitable to use JSON format which because of its simplicity, performance and small size became standard for Web data communication.APEX 5 comes with new API package APEX_JSON which allows us to easily generate and parse JSON messages. It’s not the only solution for JSON in APEX. There are new functionalities regarding JSON that came with ORDS and new Oracle 12c database.

I’m currently working as software consultant at BiLog (www.bilog.hr), company specialized in Oracle technologies. In last seven years my primary focus was Oracle APEX and related Oracle and Web technologies. I've participated in many successful national and international projects mostly related to APEX in companies like Croatia Osiguranje, Allianz (Croatia, Russia and Egypt), Croatian Post Bank, M SAN Group, Ericsson etc. I’m also active participant of the Oracle OTN APEX forum and I’m writing APEX related blog at apexbyg.blogspot.com.
