Bek Marin

System architect and entrepreneur with 10+ years of experience in scalable and distributed systems, building companies and helping them succeed.
I started out as a robotics engineer, creating my first company in Palo Alto in 2011 building autonomous underwater “drones”. Since then, I moved on to be CTO at Nextuser in San Francisco, where I designed the system and built a team of 25 people, now working with clients like Ferrero, Nestle, Carrefour…

I am also founder and CEO of Kraken d.o.o. (KrakenSystems) in Zagreb, helping companies scale and solidify their products, mainly in the area of large, distributed systems. 
When I'm not looking for new challenges and companies to help, you can find me rock-climbing in the nearest crag ;)
